Metaphors Workshop with Keynote Speaker Martha Tilyard

Over the course of the THRIVE@ECU project, an NSF ADVANCE Adaptation grant, we have offered professional development opportunities for our deans, directors, and department chairs to assist them in their endeavors to integrate the goals of the grant into their leadership approach. In May of 2023, THRIVE@ECU hosted a leadership retreat facilitated by Martha Tilyard, Executive Coach at Center for Creative Leadership. The retreat brought over 30 ECU leaders, from across academic disciplines, together to focus on and elicit concrete tools for reflection.
